The Coalition for Justice and Peace in Palestine invites you to a vigil exactly one year after Israel’s attack and invasion of Gaza in "Operation Cast Lead". 
This action is in solidarity with the people of Palestine and with those who,
all around the world, will be taking action at this time.

WHAT WE ASK:
• an end to the siege of Gaza
• remember those killed in Israel’s "Operation Cast Lead" attack on Gaza
• remind the world that 20 thousand (as at October 2009) people in Gaza
   still live in tents as Israel blocks the import of building materials
• an end to Israel’s military occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem
   and Gaza Strip
• an end to the discrimination suffered by1.5 million Palestinians citizens
   of Israel, denied even their national identity and recognition of the right
   of return for Palestinian refugees
